We recently closed on our Ryan home. A nice home that suited this phase of our life. A few weeks into living in our house we started tripping breakers in our kitchen. It turned out that our fridge was not on a dedicated line causing a breaker to trip when we used small kitchen appliances. This is allowed by code, but best practice is to put the fridge on its own breaker. To fix this we had to add another breaker to our electrical panel. We compromised with Ryan to use their electrician, and we paid the electrician at Ryans rate. We paid for the repair, but not as much as we would have paid to get an electrician on our own. Ryan also took care of all the minor repairs after the electrician finished. An equitable way to solve a difficult problem. Thank you, Ryan.

We are very happy with our experience, our project manager (Will) provided weekly updates as the home was being built and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The warranty team has been very helpful and timely when we’ve submitted a ticket. Additionally, Travis & Harrison, have provided helpful insight regarding sidewalks that were incomplete in various spots of the completed community. They provided clear communication with us and provided updates when the sidewalks would be completed.

We went around to several communities just to scope out the properties and get a feel for the construction companies and the communities they were building. We met with Anthony and he was great. Very upfront and honest. Was not pushy and did not try to sell us something we didnt want or couldnt afford. He took his time going through the pros and cons, spoke about upgrades and options, talked about the future of the community and all that is near it, and all the incentives they were offering at the time. Since we did that tour, I have reached out to Anthony multiple times via email and he is always prompt in responding and again, shoots straight with me. Downtown Wendell is not far from the community and it is so charming and everyone is so friendly. I am so glad we looked at Ryan Homes and have chosen it as our future home!

Our experience has been good except for the surprise we got at our first build meeting. We met with project manager Tony Price and sales associate Erica Formont. While at the meeting we were going over our flooring, tile etc. The floor plan showed that we had picked carpet in the living room. When we started this process with Erica, we specifically said that we only wanted carpet in all three bedrooms and LVP everywhere else. We even have a confirmed email with this information we sent to Erica after the first meeting with her on purchasing the house. Erica did not put LVP on our floor plan and we noticed that at our meeting with her and Tony Price. So at the meeting, Erica said that the LVO would add an additional cost of $4995 to our final house price. I find this very irritating, in that we had already confirmed with Erica the LVP would be installed in the living room. That is very poor busy, and Ryan Homes should have covered the cost of the LVP, since their sales representative made the mistake. As for all the other Ryan Homes representatives, we have been very satisfied. Best, Jerry Matthew Lee
